Coming from one of the most renowned hi-fi makers on the market, the Denon AH-D600 offer impressive sound.
Featuring the understated looks that you'd expect from one of Britain's favourite audiophile brands, the Denon AH-D600's are a far cry from the more ostentatious style of headgear pioneered by Monster orBeats by Dre. A blend of black, silver and stitched leather, the AH-D600's also possess a quiet elegance which continues throughout their fit and finish.
Build quality is reassuring, with thick cables, hardwearing plastic and comfortable over the ear cups ensuring they feel both sturdy and secure - thanks in part to Denon's own Ball and Socket ear cup design. The AH-D600's also feature options for long home listening sessions as well as quick blasts on the go, with two cables in the box - a long one for home and a short one, complete with a remote. Denon also ship the headphones with a 1/4" Gold Plate adaptor - which hints at their audiophile-friendly sound performance.
Capable of churning out anything from Gesaffelstein to UB40, the AH-D600's are able to accurately portray any source they are fed - thanks to their neutral, flat EQ range. Rather than go all out for bass or treble, the AH-D600's treat both equally, and the result is a far more balanced, precise sound. For bass addicts, Denon also provide a free app which allows listeners to tinker with the EQ to an even greater degree.
Great for listening in the home, and sufficient for using on the go (if you're happy with the size of them) Denon's AH-D600's offer some seriously good hi-fi sound.
