There could be a delay on the London Night Tube launch
Bad news for late-night clubbers
The September 12 launch date is looking unlikely now that the planned works for the 24-hour London Night Tube service is facing delays.
Those of you looking forward to partying all night and still being able to stumble onto the tube at 4am will have to wait a little longer as the tube union seems to be causing some problems.
After two tube strikes in the last six weeks (July 8 and August 6) and two upcoming strikes on the 25 and 26 of this month, arrangements for 24-hour weekend services have come to a standstill.
After getting excited about how much this night service will help the clubbing scene in the capital (see here), this is a bit of a bummer.
When it does finally roll around, the Central, Northern, Jubilee, Piccadilly and Victoria lines will be fully operational around the clock at weekends. In the meantime you can check out the Night Tube map here.
