Dedekind Cut presents ‘Black History Month In 3D’ with experiemntal mix for NON

The artist formerly known as Lee Bannon also has an album coming on Ninja Tune

Lee Bannon first inaugurated his Dedekind Cut alias last September with a free EP, and continued his work under the name with a collaborative EP with Rabit in January.

Now he’s released a mix for politically charged imprint NON, one of our top labels of 2015, titled ‘Black History Month In 3D’.

Over the course of its 27-minute runtime, the mix showcases an eclectic range of sounds, traversing abrasive industrialism, trance-like rave stabs, and rumbling low-ends, sampling anti-police speeches and Ashanti vocals.

He also revealed his debut album as Dedekind Cut is called ‘Successor’ and will arrive through Ninja Tune in autumn, with an EP named ‘American Zen’ landing beforehand via Hospital Productions.
