Deardrums - 6/10

Straight out of Brooklyn comes the label 2MR, and this release from Deardrums. Stuttered old-skool drums are the catalyst behind this track which feels sparse and minimal, despite being relatively busy.

An analogue melody keeps things dramatic and mysterious, but there is something lacking, energy perhaps. Certainly the track is a decent effort, but it needs more punch to really be enjoyable.
