Deadmau5 shares two new clips

He also branded 2015 as a “really shitty year for electronic music”

Deadmau5 has continued his method of roadtesting ideas by uploading two new clips to SoundCloud.

The work-in-progress tracks are titled 'ent_Hope_clk_thme' and 'ent_open_Alice_02'. They showcase a softer, more ambient approach to producing than previous Deadmau5 releases.

Naturally, as this is Deadmau5 we're talking about, the uploads were accompanied with some tweets criticising the current state of electronic music, with the acid-tongued producer complaining "2015 was a really shitty year for electronic music. 2016 isn't looking any better. Someone needs to bring 2012 back."

"I remember getting excited to hear new Shlomi Aber, Phil Kieran, Jon Hopkins, Dubfire... Etc. Now we're all stuck with this other shit."

Check out the new clips below.
