Deadmau5 (Com Truise remix)
'Strobe' receives the fresh remix treatment
He may be one of the most outspoken figures in dance music but his music speaks far louder than words and Deadmau5 has been at the top of his game since he exploded onto the scene around a decade ago.
When 'I Remember' came out in 2008 on the 'Random Album Title' LP, people began to take notice and since then, his music has been reverberating around the world ever since.
Cuts like 'Ghosts N Stuff', 'Some Chords' and 'Hi Friend' were club-aimed weapons but one of his most poignant and played-out tracks to date comes in the form of the serene and ethereal 'Strobe'.
God, what an absolute classic.
The ten-minute epic still sends shivers down the spine and to celebrate the 100th release on Deadmau5's Mau5trap label, there are a brand new set of remixes to accompany the essential release.
You can expect edits from Feed Me, Dimension, ATTLAS, Lane 8 and the Mau5 himself but today we have the full stream of the Com Truise remix.
We love Com Truise over at Mixmag and his slo-mo strain of synthwave is an intergalactic view into the future. He's turned 'Strobe' into a sumptuous roller, one that's packed with glitzy synths and robotic grooves, enough to garner plaudits from the Mau5.
This one is massive.
The 'Strobe' Remixes will be released on September 23
