50th anniversary edition of David Bowie's 'Space Oddity' on the way
A special boxset celebrating Bowie's iconic track
A limited-edition 7" EP boxset of David Bowie’s classic 'Space Oddity' is set to be released to mark its 50th anniversary.
The hit was initially released on July 11, 1969 and it is being reissued to commemorate the half century milestone.
The special edition arrives with a poster featuring an original 'Space Oddity' print advertisement. It also includes a Ray Stevenson shot of Bowie captured on stage at the 1969 Save Rave concert in London.
It comes with an information card and print featuring an alternative short by Jojanneke Claassen. This is from the 'Space Oddity' promo single photoshoot.
