Dave postpones shows at O2 Arena due to Storm Eunice damage
"We are doing everything we can to reschedule the shows to play as soon as possible”
Dave has been forced to cancel a series of shows that were due to take place at Greenwich's O2 Arena this month, following damage to the venue's roof sustained during Storm Eunice.
On Friday, Storm Eunice tore through London, causing damage to buildings and even fatalities as it travelled across the UK with wind speeds of up to 122mph — the highest ever recorded.
The storm ripped apart the O2 arena roof, with around 1000 people having to be evacuated.

The rapper has had to cancel his headline shows at the venue which were planned to take place on February 21 and February 22.
Dave said via Twitter: “Bad news, The O2 have told us Monday and Tuesday’s shows can’t happen. (Storm/roof) we’re doing everything we can to reschedule the shows to play as soon as possible. Have been told it won’t be too long I’ll know more on Monday and will return with a tweet then.. So sorry guys”.
Two of Dave’s concerts have been cancelled "to give us time to carry out some necessary works on our roof" the O2 said in a statement.
The statement also included another statement from Dave which reads: "Not the best news, The O2 have told us Monday and Tuesday's shows can't happen because of the storm and the roof.
"We are doing everything we can to reschedule the shows to play as soon as possible.
"Right now we do not know when The O2 arena will be open again for events but they've told us it shouldn't take long at all. I'll release another statement on Monday but it should be very soon."

Previously called the Millennium Dome, the O2 arena opened in 2000 and had the second-highest capacity of any indoor venue within the UK.
It has been announced that the arena will be closed until February 25.
All tickets for upcoming events will remain valid and more events may be rescheduled.
