Dark0 debuts on XL Recordings with 'Oceana' EP
His first release on the UK label after work on Rinse and Gobstopper Records
London producer Dark0 has announced his first EP on XL Recordings, coming out on October 28.
The 'Oceana' EP is a four-track release that carries a political message for residents of his hometown, telling a story of the "city’s illusions of grandeur, mired by hypocrisy and a false sense of security," according to the press release.
Lead single ‘Forever’ presents a more mature sound for the 25-year-old, featuring cinematic strings, blockbuster drums and a growling tone to create a soundtrack for what’s scratching underneath the surface of London’s gentrification.
