Damian Lazarus & The Ancient Moons (Kölsch Remix)

Yet another blinder from Kölsch

In December last year, we featured the world-conquering Damian Lazarus as our cover star and he donned a majestic golden crown for the occasion. To call Lazarus a king of electronic music isn't far off either as he's been running things over at Crosstown Rebels for over a decade.

Crosstown has released some of the most recognisable electronic music in recent years and it's launched the careers of several now-household names. Artists like Jamie Jones, Seth Troxler and Maceo Plex all released groundbreaking EPs and Lazarus' ear for talent is second-to-none.

Of late though he's been concentrating on a new project, one that's seen him swap the decks for the microphone and Damian Lazarus & The Ancient Moons have quickly become a live spectacle not worth missing.

Infusing tribal house music with mystical beats and enchanting vocals, the act released 'Message From The Other Side' last May and now a full remix LP is on its way. We've already been treated to a few remixes, including the incredible Dixon re-edit of 'Lovers' Eyes (Mohe Pi Ki Najariya)' that we premiered last year, but now it's time for a new exclusive.

German mainstay Kölsch has had a thunderous few years too, fully establishing himself as a worldwide force to be reckoned with. His piano-drenched techno has been slaying sound-systems the world over and even after two incredible albums via Kompakt, we reckon the best is still yet to come.

His remix of 'Trouble At The Séance' is deep, dark and full of lazer-beam synths that zip in-and-out of focus. Not much can be said about this one other than it's an absolute stormer and it's going to do some serious damage this summer. Check it.
