Daft Punk's 'Da Funk' and 'Teachers' receives a special gold re-release
In honour of TOILETPAPER's millionth copy
Yet another day passes without new material or word from the hailed Daft Punk. Though their silence remains deafening, two of the robots' iconic tracks are receiving a re-release over two decades later.
Maurizio Cattelan and Pierpaolo Ferrari’s artist magazine TOILETPAPER has sold one million copies and is celebrating the milestone with a limited release of 'Da Funk' and 'Teachers', packaged in a special gold vinyl, which is also a nod to the colour usually awarded to special releases for monumental music achievements.
Only 1,000 copies of the re-release will be issued and already, the store notes that the disc will become an instant collector's item, possibly attributing to the questionably high price tag (£50 for the double track 12"). The vinyl will be available exclusively online on the VF Editions Shop, on TOILETPAPER's website and in-person in London at The Store at The Strand.
