D-Knox - 6/10

"It began in Africa", so the vocal clip states. There's not much evidence to the contrary so we're prepared to accept that statement. We've also been lapping up RF's impressive remix of D-Knox's unusual original. There's a nice tribal rhythm to this track, but it's maybe overly repetitive; as a DJ tool it would be a great addition to a set, but played alone it doesn't quite have enough variation or progression to make it as compelling as some of our other choices this month.
