CRSSD Festival in The Lab LA with Cassian and Sacha Robotti
A power duo take The Lab ahead of San Diego's festival
The Lab Los Angeles is Mixmag and Smirnoff Sound Collective's weekly post-work unwind where we stream only the finest American and international DJs, live and direct from our Downtown LA office. This Thursday, The Lab LA receives a special CRSSD takeover ahead of the festival with Cassian and Sacha Robotti.
Sydney native Cassian is yet another Australian talent commanding worthy attention in the electronic music realm. Signed to Sweat It Out! Records in 2014, Cassian has remained a mainstay in the deeper end of the house spectrum and continues to bring his talents across the world. On March 5 and 6, Cassian takes to the CRSSD Festival stage alongside Sacha Robotti in sunny San Diego, but before, catch them on their stop in The Lab LA this Thursday.
Sacha Robotti has been a classical musician since age 7, a fan of the underground since the 90s and a Dirtybird staple since his entry in 2012. The Italian-German and Belgium-raised producer helped to ring in the label's 10th anniversary in January of 2015 with his original tune 'Thump Bumper', which was also voted by Mixmag as one of the 10 tracks that defined Movement Detroit last year.
On opening duties, we welcome CRSSD resident duo Boys Don't Disco, who will showcase their fine-tuned taste for the best of soul, disco and house tunes. Hear more from them here.
