Croatia to have new festival Love International next year

It'll replace The Garden Festival at The Garden Tisno

The Garden Festival in Croatia might have played its final innings this summer, but it's getting a suitable replacement next year.

Love International is setting up shop at The Garden Tisno from June 29 to July 6 next year, with more details expected in the next few months.

It'll mainly be in the hands of Dave Harvey and Tom Paine, the guys responsible for Bristol's Love Saves The Day and the record label Futureboogie, but TGF founder Nick Colgan will also be part of the team.

On Harvey and Paine taking over the site, Colgan trusts it's in "really good hands", while Harvey is relishing the prospect of something new.

"The Garden Festival has been an integral part of my and Tom's lives for many years, both as music lovers and also booking the majority of the acts. What Nick, Eddie, Charlotte and Gail have achieved is really quite remarkable, and it is very sad to see The Garden Festival finish.

"However, while all great things must come to an end, we have got lots of exciting plans for Love International which we are bringing to Tisno in July 2016. We intend to embrace the amazing legacy The Garden Festival is leaving in Croatia and across the whole region, and develop our own brand new perspective too."
