Cocoon - Various Artists - 7/10

'Cocoon O' is the 15th instalment of the label's annual, unmixed techno box set series. And while there are less bigger names this year than before (Loco Dice, Sven and Visionquest all contributed to previous volumes), the music is still up to the usual standard.

Standouts include Roland M Dill's bleep-infested opener 'The Opener', Dana Ruh's terrace jam 'If You Don't Know A Name' and youANDme's super-catchy and groove-riding piano instrumental 'Jungle Book', which might be the best club track in the pack and definitely worth a listen to below.

Also save a dance for Tom Demac's 'Aexl Foley', too, which is five minutes of filthy and acidic funk.
