Cocaine allegedly sold from Melbourne venue's office

'Who was next?'

Two managers of the Railway Hotel in Brunswick, Melbourne, were selling cocaine and ice from an upstairs office at the venue, a court has been told.

The Herald Sun reports police allege Chris Lytras and Paul Polito sold "huge amounts" of the substances from the office. People (including undercover police) would wait their turn outside the door, according to the report.

A drug taskforce raided the venue, which is home to regular parties, last month.

"Magistrate Peter Reardon said he could not understand why it was necessary for police to conduct 13 buys before raiding the hotel," writes the Herald Sun reporter.

Just enjoying their work, perhaps.
