Coachella embraces virtual reality in this year's ticket boxes
Each ticket holder will receive a cardboard VR tool
Coachella is just a matter of weeks away, and the major festival is preparing to ship out its signature boxes to ticket buyers that come equipped with the festival wristband, information booklets and an annual trinket that rotates year by year.
In 2016, Coachella has unveiled that this year's box will serve as a virtual reality headset that can be implemented along with the Coachella VR app (both iOS and Android), allowing viewers to see 360 photos from previous festivals, interviews and performances from the Coachella archives.
The app will be updated throughout the remaining weeks leading up to Coachella in April.
