Chicago’s Mamby On The Beach taps Richie Hawtin and DJ Tennis

A rousing collection of music on Lake Michigan

Setting up shop on the grassy and sand-swept shore of Oakwood Beach on Lake Michigan, Chicago’s Mamby On The Beach music festival has announced a heavy line-up of high-profile artists for the event's fourth annual installment.

The two-day boutique festival’s growing reputation has committed itself to its city’s boundless musical interests by recruiting a myriad of pop, hip-hop, indie, and electronic artists. Headliners include Grizzly Bear, Cold War Kids, Common, and Tune-Yards.

On the dance music front, Mixmag and Beatport will be teaming up to host the festival’s DJ Tent. Concocting a toothsome blend of house and techno, the stage will see performances from Dixon, Duke Dumont, Jai Wolf, Nora En Pure, Richie Hawtin, DJ Tennis, DJ Hyperactive, Gene Farris and more.

While the music is bound to keep the majority of attendees occupied, people can also opt for activities such as volleyball, yoga, slam poetry and water balloon fights.
