The famously quirky hotel will host club nights, live showcases and a vinyl market

Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) is set to take over Amsterdam’s Volkshotel next week — with an event series including club nights, live showcases and even a vinyl market.

As part of the city-wide festival, the art hotel will be hosting events in three of its spaces from October 19 to 23.

Sound bar Doka will use its four-point sound system from Danley Sound Labs and handcrafted “spaceship” booth to give guests a high-quality sound experience.

Doka will have an evening of live performances hosted by artist agency Toi Toi Musik, a cultural evening with LOCH INN as well as nights with United Identities, Rhythm Section, Picnic Records and Minimal Collective.

The line-up at Doka across the festival includes Ash Lauryn, Bradley Zero, Carista, DJ Tjizza, Gayance, Margaret Dygas, Mama Snake, musclecars, Rhadoo, Samuel Rohrer, Spekki Webu, Sugar Free and Truly Madly.

Canvas, a club space on the seventh floor of Volkshotel, is also running two nights: Likeminded and a joint venture from Many Møre x Toy Tonics.

At Canvas you can catch COEO, Daan Donk, Desyn, Hicham, Kapote, Kalle, LEGRAM VG and Sam Rufillo.

However, the fun doesn’t end there at Volkshotel, situated in the lobby is Werkplaats — the vinyl collector’s dream for it crates part of Good Music Vinyl Market along with its ADE yoga experience.
