Check out Lo5ive's euphoric and emotive new banger, 'Fahrenheit'
It combines rave-fuelled breaks with high-energy drum 'n' bass
Manchester-based Lo5ive has released the follow-up to his debut single, entitled 'Fahrenheit'.
It's a euphoric blend of breakbeat-fuelled rave energy with intense drum 'n' bass elements, available via Black Butter Records.
The track was produced in collaboration with Jakwob and T Williams, aiming to bottle the end-of-night feeling via intense stabs, chops of vocals and a helping of strings.

“As soon as the ball was rolling in the studio, it was just a case of sifting through the ideas and seeing what arrangement worked," explains the producer and DJ on the process behind creating the record. "The chops have the T Williams garage flavour, while drawing from breakbeats and synths. It has a slight melancholic vibe; it’s an emotional closing time tune, capturing the bittersweet feeling that comes at the end of the rave.”
Accompanying the release is a visualiser which continually tracks a raver at his Manchester-based Kultura Collective club night with Lo5ive shaved into the back of his head, creating a sense of follow-along as the audience is truly immersed into Manchester's club culture.
For those on Bandcamp, 'Fahrenheit' comes alongside a sample-based, platform-exclusive B-side edit. '1nce again' pays homage to A Tribe Called Quest by taking a groovy approach and pairs succinctly with the main single.
