Charlotte de Witte announces arena show for her label

It’ll take place in her hometown of Ghent, in Belgium

Charlotte de Witte’s label, KNTXT, has announced its biggest ever show - in an arena.

It’s due to take place on February 5 next year at Flanders Expo, in de Witte’s hometown of Ghent.

The announcement comes just after the release of her new EP, Asura, also on her label.

The event is titled ‘All Night Long’ - lasting ten hours - allowing the audience to embrace all of her musical influences.

On the event, de Witte says: “One of the few things that kept me sane during the past 18 months was keeping up to date with new music that got released. It gave me purpose in a time where all certainties were lost. My music collection has been expanding over the borders of peak time techno and I’m beyond excited to take you on a 10 hour trip through my musical past, present and future.”

“And honestly, what better place to do this than in my hometown Ghent? The place where it all started for me 12 years ago. This will undoubtedly be a night to never forget."

An unlikely venue for techno, arena shows seem to be gradually emerging - albeit in unintentional circumstances. UK DJ Patrick Topping’s label ‘Trick’ had its show rescheduled to November 27 and changed venues to Newcastle-upon-Tyne’s Utilita Arena after encountering logistical difficulties.

Tickets for KNTXT and Charlotte de Witte’s show go on pre-sale on Monday, October 25 and general sale Tuesday, October 26.
