Charivari Detroit is the perfect alternative to Movement

And it's free, too

With a line-up that boasts Moodymann, Terrence Parker and Juan Atkins, it's hard to ignore Detroit's Charivari festival.

It's taking place on August 1 and 2 on Belle Isle in the city, and has three stages running from noon until 10pm.

This is Charivari's second outing, and like the first one it's free and fully open to the public so anyone can come along and get down to some of the finest techno there is. In addition to the names above, Kyle Hall, Eddie Fowlkes, Theo Parrish and Delano Smith will all be there too.

As Movement Detroit gets increasingly more and more commercial each year, Charivari could be the perfect alternative.
