Charity fundraiser Refuge hits Berlin with Nick Höppner

Raising money for refugees

The Refuge charity has announced a Berlin fundraising party with Nick Höppner and Soundstream.

The organisation, which raises money for homeless and refugee organisations in the city, is set to hold the event on Sunday December 17 at Griessmühle.

The billing is filled out by Max Graef, Andy Hart, Jennifer Cardini and Pär Grindvik.

The party will use the Neukölln venue’s three rooms and will run for 24 hours. A Syrian street-food stall will serve vegan and meat dishes to jaded ravers from 10am onwards.

Refuge was launched in Berlin during the winter of 2015 to show solidarity with refugees. After three events at ://aboutblank, Prince Charles and Sub Club in Glasgow the charity raised more than £11,000.

Money raised will go towards a number of German charities including Klik, Berline, Obdachlosenhilfe, Bündnis Neukölln, Give Something Back To Berlin and Frauenzimmer.

Check out the full lineup here. Entry is free but a donation of €10 will be suggested on the door.
