Casanora unveils forthcoming glittering EP

The seven-tracker is a self-released dreamscape

Casanora has unveiled her forthcoming EP, 'Electric Water', which is set for release on November 4.

The record consists of seven tracks from the sound designer and multimedia artist, who creates self-proclaimed "electronic dreamlands" with her music, and it gurgles, chirps and echoes throughout in English and Italian, the country of her heritage.

Track 'The Blood Returns' is available to check out now, which comes with a remix by Roscius. Each has its own visualiser - take a look at the original cut below:

"'Electric Water' is about losing gravity, diving and living underwater, being hunted by shadows and bones; the state of calm before the storm," says Casanora on the album.

"It is this twisted feeling between comfort and restlessness. You're floating in between. Imagine you've been thrown into a dimension where you've never been before: adapt, adjust and wait until you find your way back home. Meanwhile you start to dance with creatures in electric water."

Inspired by this concept, each track on the record moulds its own world. Some are pastel-like and delicate, others metallic and glistening, weaving between contrasting themes and sonic identities throughout.

'Electric Water' is the third EP by the Swiss artist, which forms as a self-release. It follows winning awards for her previous work in her native Switzerland, and remains authentically true to Casanora's discography and cements her outside-of-the-box vision.
