Carl Craig shows Ibiza some Detroit Love
The don is taking his party to Space Ibiza this summer
Carl Craig is taking his Detroit Love party to Ibiza this summer.
The techno don will set up shop at Space four times across the season. He'll be inviting Moodymann, Derrick May, Magda, Jimmy Edgar, Mad Mike and more to play the club's Discoteca room.
Taking place on Sundays, Detroit Love is one of the residencies filling the mammoth gap left by We Love, which was the end-of-week party at Space for years before it moved to Sankeys for 2015. Craig's party will be complemented by Luciano's Vagabundos event, which will be held on the Terrace.
Carl Craig said: "I am excited to bring the Detroit Love tour and music to Space Ibiza. We have had really good dates on the tour so far and the responses have been astounding. I have learned that people love Detroit and I love that the potential I have seen in Detroit for the last 30 years is finally being recognized. Electronic music shouldn't be underestimated."
