Butch on promos: "They're such a waste of time"
The German producer is over them
Love them or hate them, promos are a pretty essential part of the producer game and music industry as a whole. But Butch is done with them.
The producer, who’s released on Watergate, Hot Creations, Desolat and Rekids, posted on Facebook at the weekend about the “frustrating” experience of listening to them.
Having received some flak in the comments section about sending out promos and “begging for plays”, he responded saying there was a difference between a demo and a promo.
“I keep listening [to] demos, but I'm not keen to listen to 1000 promos a day. Btw. I've never begged anybody. I'm a self made man.”
