Burning man registrations opens today
Ticket registration for the most infamous festival in America today at noon PST
Today is the day that you scramble together $400 and start squirreling away every penny you can for Burning Man 2015. Registration for the infamous, week-long festival in Black Rock desert starts today at noon PST.
Prospective first-time burners will be required to set-up a Burner Profile and then register for tickets later today. The tickets are priced at $390 and go on sale on February 18, but there is also a process for applying for discounted, low-income tickets a bit further down the line, so keep your eyes peeled if you're already balking at the festival's hefty price tag.
Burning Man was started in 1983 by a group of Bay Area artists and creatives that wanted to celebrate free expression. In 1990 the festival was moved from San Francisco's Baker Beach to Black Rock in Nevada, and despite its lack of affiliation with any larger brands and direct sponsors, the festival swelled quickly to become one of the most lauded festival experiences in the world.
You can set up your Burner profile here and register at noon PST, and you can find any additional ticketing information here.
