Burning Man attendee sent to intensive care after being run over in his tent by a car

Another attendee has been sent to the hospital

The conclusion of this year's Burning Man was marred by news about the passing of a 41-year old who ran into the ceremonious fire.

Unfortunately, the bad news seems to continue coming out of the Black Rock City event. New reports explain that another attendee of the festival has been sent to intensive care after he was hit by a car while he was sleeping in a tent on Monday night. A Ford flatbed truck drove into a non-roadway area of the festival and ran into the dark tent where the unidentified male was resting.

The female driver of the car stopped and flagged down medical assistance and is said to be cooperating with authorities looking into the incident.

The male victim was sent immediately to intensive care and is said to now be in stable condition, but remains in the hospital as of Wednesday morning.
