‘Brotherhood’ film trailer premieres
Noel Clarke gives us a taste of his new ‘hood’ film which features Stormzy
After the success of Noel Clarke’s Kidulthood in 2006 and of the sequel Adulthood in 2008, it is only right that his next film Brotherhood is given the same hype. The writer, director and actor will be bringing his new film to UK cinemas in August.
Clarke teases us with two Brotherhood trailers, including an ‘explicit’ version which doesn’t hold back with its bad language and brutal violence which is to be expected in the film.
The first trailer shows a cameo from Stormzy, making an acting debut while representing the grime scene, who sniggers at the main character Sam’s tough-guy statement: “Get out my way blud”, as nobody says ‘blud’ anymore.
Also starring are the likes of Steven Cree, Olivia Chenery, Tonia Sotiropoulou, Jason Maza, Ashley Thomas and more, plus the soundtrack sees new music from Stormzy, Chip and Krept & Konan.
Noel Clarke’s Brotherhood is in cinemas August 29. You can watch the official trailer below.
