Boys Noize and Hudson Mohawke enlist Danny Brown for ‘Birthday' celebration

Alex Ridha evolves the bass belter with help from hip hop's finest

Fresh off the release of his album ‘Mayday’ and the announcement of a North American tour, Boys Noize has enlisted Danny Brown and Pell for a new version of ‘Birthday’.

The original collaboration between Boys Noize and Hudson Mohawke, featuring Spank Rock, is a party anthem, but adding Danny Brown and Pell to the mix increases the raucous energy of the track.

With his upcoming 15-date tour kicking off in October, there’s much more that Boys Noize plans to share within the next month, including his contributions to the forthcoming Oliver Stone movie ‘Snowden’ set for release September 16.

The tour starts in Los Angeles on October 5 and will make stops in Vancouver, Seattle, two nights in New York, Miami, Boston, Suwannee Hulaween in Florida and will wrap up at Austin's Sound on Sound.

We recently brought Boys Noize in for a session in the Lab NYC, which you can watch here.
