India has registered 22 million cases so far, and is averaging more than 400,000 cases daily, as the pandemic pushes the country’s healthcare system to its limits. The 48-hour fundraiser stream across May 15 to 16 will feature exclusive sets and performances to help raise funds to tackle the COVID-19 crisis in India
All proceeds raised from the broadcast will be donated to GiveIndia, a non-profit organisation working across India aiding COVID-19 patients and their families, as well as trying to reduce the strain on healthcare workers that the crisis has created. The organisation is committed to tackling inequality on the global stage.
