Bonobo shares lush, cinematic visuals for ‘Bambro Koyo Ganda’
Taken from his album 'Migration'
Bonobo’s latest album offering ‘Migration’ got a 9/10 review from us at Mixmag.
With the video for new single, ‘Bamro Koyo Ganda’, director StyleWar takes viewers on a kaleidoscopic journey through colour and space, inspired by the “indescribable beauty of the natural world.”
As the visuals move through the motions of modern life, scenes from around the world unfold in subtle synchronicity with the music; pulsing and pausing, stopping and starting.
StyleWar says: “If you look closely, you should notice that the smallest details have been tweaked to sync the music to the movement. Like the music of Bonobo, it celebrates the rhythmic beauty of our world.”
The track, featuring vocals from Moroccan by-way-of New York City band Innov Gnawa, is a dizzying house-driven groove, sure to be a crowd favourite on the ‘Migration’ tour, currently weaving its way through the US before going international.
Bonobo's just announced new dates in Paris, Madrid and Amsterdam among others. Grab a ticket here.
