The charismatic party-makers Boko! Boko! Are giving Mixmag a taste of their captivating nights in The Lab LDN. Created by Tash LC, Mina and Juba, Boko! Boko! was formed almost a decade ago by the trio with the goal of providing an inclusive space for women.
Playing at the likes of Peckham Audio, Glastonbury Festival, Uganda’s Nyege Nyege festival, Berlin’s Tresor and many more, the huge hype around their eclectic sound and energy is ever-growing. Playing a huge host of genres such as Afropop, dancehall and more, the collective has something for everyone when behind the decks. Boko! Boko! have also previously run a host of workshops and tutorials on top of regular parties, providing educational sessions for those looking to take a crack at the music industry.
