Body Movements announce crews for third summer instalment

The festival is heading back to Hackney Wick on July 29

Body Movements Festival has announced the crews set to play its third instalment across 16 of the various indoor and outdoor venues of Hackney Wick in late July.

The summer festival follows a pivotal takeover for the party's winder edition at Printworks, once more inviting an abundance of various LGBTQI+ crews from underground dance music across the UK and Europe.

According to a press release, the 2023 summer edition will also "make space of three brand new spaces in the Hackney Wick playground, each with a distinct character and personality. This includes a brand new outdoor area, making a plethora of backdrops hosting this year's revered crews."

Some of the biggest collectives in dance music are returning including Femme Fraiche, Queer Bruk, Chapter 10, Little Gay Brother and Pxssy Palace. Fresh faces to the party include HOWL, T-Boys Club and Riposte.

Body Movements have partnered with London Trans Pride as their official charity partner for this year's summer festival. £1 will be donated to the organisation which fights for the freedom of trans lives from each ticket dale, plus all guest list donations, to help fund the continuation of London Trans Pride's work.

More information about London Trans Pride's presence on the festival site is to be released in due course.
