Bodhi
Sharp, synthy magic from the Welsh duo
We've backed Bodhi for a while and the Welsh duo's bubbly house music has always come loaded with bass and garage influences.
They've always dabbled with different styles and sounds and released on labels like Grizzly, Exploited, Ten Thousand Yen, Rinse and Black Butter.
Now they head over to W&O Street Tracks for the 'Ngoma' EP and it's a stormer.
Waze & Odyssey's imprint has gone from strength-to-strength with stand-out cuts coming from Ejeca, Citizen and Lancelot but it's fair to say that Bodhi's is one of our favourite this year.
'Ngoma' starts off deep before sharp synths ping in and out of focus, working as the main crux of the track while tribal drums bubble in the background to create an undeniably fruity groove. More brilliance from Bodhi.
The 'Ngoma' EP will be released on August 5 via W&O Street Tracks
