Block9 & NYC Downlow's debut London warehouse party sells out instantly
Are you ready for two days of absolute madness?
Block9 & NYC Downlow are joining forces to throw a debut weekend-long warehouse party in London next month across December 9 and 10.
It will be hosted within an “epic new industrial facility”, and all funds raised will be donated to thenycdownlow.com, which since 2007 has put over £63,000 towards causes such as the HIV AIDS Alliance, the Sea Watch refugee rescuing charity, the Human Dignity Trust which challenges homophobic laws in West Africa, West Indies and the Caribbean, Medecins San Frontieres, and more.
Artists hailing from London, New York, Chicago, San Francisco, Berlin, Paris and Los Angeles all feature on the line-up, while an army of pan-sexual drag and trans performers and go-go will be in attendance, headed by Johnny Woo.
Anyone who's been lucky enough to head to Block9 and The NYC Downlow at Glastonbury will know the sorts of DJs on display and although there's no confirmation yet, we've been told the line-up is HUGE.
The Saturday event starts at 2pm and runs for 18 hours through to 8am on Sunday morning, while the Sunday leg kicks off at midday and runs through to midnight, with an entirely different line-up.
It will mark the launch of The Silver Building, a new creative arts hub that will host workshops and hold studios.
Tickets for the event are now sold out, but never fear, if you weren't lucky enough to grab one, there will be a small amount released before the party and also a competition to secure your place in the action.
Head to the the NYC Downlow website for further details.
