BKR Projekt (Skudge remix)

A percussive ride through the murky depths of techno

Simon Baker first broke through in 2007 with the pulsating groove of ‘Plastik’, and ever since he’s been releasing non-stop quality.

Top-class labels such as Playhouse, Kompakt and Last Night On Earth have lined up to put out his music over the years, but more recently he’s been going it alone, inaugurating the more techno-focused BKR Projekt alias and label in 2015.

Number four in the series 'The Sapphire' has received coveted co-signs from international heavyweights such as Ryan Elliott, Laurent Garnier and Adam Beyer, who have all aired its tracks on dancefloors across the globe in recent months.

It arrives backed with an incredible remix from Swedish masters Skudge, well known for their textured soundscape releases that never fail to mesmerise.

‘Arpy (BKR Red'16 version) (Skudge remix)’ is a percussive ride through the murky depths of techno, simultaneously disorientating and driving. Listen below.

'The Sapphire' EP is out through BKR on February 8
