Listen to "transcendent" love song 'The Gate' from Björk's new album

Björk has made the first track from her new album available for streaming.

It was announced earlier this month that ‘The Gate’ would be the first single from the as-of-yet unnamed new album which will drop in November.

The Icelandic singer has described the album, co-produced with Arca, as her “Tinder album” and has said ‘The Gate’ is a transcendental love song.

“I say 'love' in a more transcendent way. Vulnicura was about a very personal loss, and I think this new album is about a love that's even greater."

'The Gate' comes on the 20th anniversary of her single 'Joga' getting released.
