Berlin’s Creamcake club night to host new series of interdisciplinary workshops

The first <Interrupted = “Cyfem and Queer"> event is hitting Berlin this weekend

Berlin label and party night Creamcake has announced a new four-part interdisciplinary symposium titled *<Interrupted = “Cyfem and Queer"*>.

Launching today (April 28) the series will run from spring 2018 through to winter 2019. The first <Interrupted = “Cyfem and Queer"> event is set to take place at Südblock and aquarium in Berlin.

Fusing workshops, lectures, readings, performances, music and more, the packed programme consists of “day and night-long series of conversations, brainstorming sessions, panels, lectures and performances dedicated to broadening the discourse around digital space” as explained via a press statement.

Cyberfeminist pioneer Cornelia Sollfrank is among names tapped for talks and workshops, alongside theorist Legacy Russell. Artists in attendance include Swan Meat, Cibelle Cavalli Bastos and more.

Earlier this month Creamcake made an open call for symposium participants, inviting eager writers, artists and more to apply and get involved with the event.
