Benga returns with ‘Future Funk’ EP

It arrives through Benga Beats next month

Benga is back with a new EP titled 'Future Funk' coming out through his Benga Beats imprint on February 26. He had previously announced that he will make his DJing return the same month at a Tectonic showcase at Fabric.

The dubstep originator has taken the past two years off from music after a battle with mental health issues that he made public on Twitter last year, going into greater depth in an interview with The Guardian.

Speaking about the new three-track release, Benga said: "It's been two years and I have grown a lot, and I now know what's important: music. I'm back and I think my sound is the most 'me' it's been since 'Diary of an Afro Warrior' and I'm super excited to play it and reconnect with all of the people who have supported me. Let's have a good year!"

'Make Moves', a thumping new track on the EP that features a killer acid line, is streaming now on SoundCloud. Listen below.
