Ben Klock and Marcel Dettmann combine for Ostgut Ton's 100th release

'Phantom Studies' is out on January 27

Ostgut Ton is celebrating a century of 12" releases with its two main players.

Ben Klock, our November cover star, and Marcel Dettmann get together on 'Phantom Studies', a 2xEP made up of seven tracks.

Out on January 27, the material is the Berghain residents' first collaboration since 2007, when they hooked up for 'Scenario'. Before that, they launched the label in 2006 with 'Dawning'/'Dead Man Watches The Clock'.

According to the press release, the seven-tracker features plenty of menace, bold kicks for the club, hints of acid and adventurous synths, with Dettmann taking care of vocals on 'The Room'.
