Beatport and DJCity launch Beatsource to provide DJs with curated playlists

Beatport and DJCity have launched Beatsource to provide DJs with curated playlists.
Beatsource specialises in hip hop, r'n'b, Latin, reggae, dancehall and pop, with the likes of Kidd Spin, DJames of Capital XTRA, Majestik of 97.1 AMP Radio LA & FireLane and DJ Drew of 102.7 KIIS-FM confirmed as curators.
Beatport CEO Robb McDaniels said: "Beatport has long been the home for the global DJ community, but now we have created a single destination for all the great open-format DJs around the world.

The Beatsource download store will be followed by a LINK service, allowing subscribers to access the store from leading DJ software and hardware platforms, then Beatsource PROMO - an exclusive subscription service for professional DJs.
