Heléna Star and Altern-8 to play BBL CLB interactive virtual raves

Eats Everything, Sam Divine and Alan Fitzpatrick are also playing exclusive sets for the ‘immersive rave theatre’

The BBL CLB is a new online interactive and immersive rave experience from award-winning experiential agency Hyperactive.

Described as an ‘immersive theatre x secret warehouse party’ that’s akin to a rave-fuelled version of Black Mirror’s Bandersnatch, BBL CLB event participants will follow an interactive storyline that takes them through the murky world of the underground in the search for a secret venue that’s keeping rave alive while clubs remain closed, with famous resident DJs playing.

All this takes place in the virtual setting of Zoom, meaning there’s no actual lockdown law breaking or COVID infection risk from the events.

Tickets are on sale now, and Mixmag readers can make use of a special discount code at checkout: MIXMAG25.

Attendees will be guided through a series of situations by a cast as they attempt to uncover the secret BBL CLB, where they will be able to experience exclusive sets from the DJs.

Tickets are sold in groups of 2, 4 or 6 friends, who do not have to be physically together, with BBL CLB designed to be played with each member of the group on their own separate computer. To find out more about how it works head here.

Andrew Casher, founder & CEO, said: “The BBL CLB is designed for those of us who miss the buzz of anticipation before a night out, the electricity and unity of the dancefloor, those madcap moments with our mates and of course the appreciation of dance music in all its guises. For me, BBL CLB is about togetherness when we're socially distanced and about supporting UK club culture which is so important to so many people both socially and professionally.”
