Barack and Michelle Obama write letter to Frankie Knuckles' friends and family

Following the memorial service for Frankie Knuckles, David Morales has posted a letter from Barack and Michelle Obama to the late DJ's friends and family. A close friend to the Chicago musician, Morales uploaded a scan of the letter to his Facebook page, insisting he was a "true legend".

The US president and his wife had met Frankie before, as seen above, and the letter describes him as a "trailblazer" and says his "spirit will remain a guiding force".
