Avalon Emerson's latest EP is a love letter to Arizona
'Whities 006' is out on March 7
US producer Avalon Emerson's next release is out on Whities, an affiliate of London label Young Turks.
Opening track 'The Frontier' is "a driving yet abstract slice of dance music," according to the press release, with the B-sides said to represent the "psychedelic desert motif" presented on the A-side.
It also says 'Whities 006' is a "love letter to the Arizona desert, her childhood home" and sees her "step forward towards a hybrid form of house-techno that's heavy enough for the dancefloor, but rich enough for the home hi-fi."
She joins Terron, Kowton, Minor Science and Reckonwrong as artists to have released on Whities, adding to her previous material on Icee Hot, Spring Theory and Shtum.
