This Friday we welcome a true purveyor of euphoria in the form of Auntie Flo.
With releases across labels such as Huntleys + Palmers, Mule Musiq and Permanent Vacation, Goa-hailing/London-based Auntie Flo is revered for the manner in which he stitches together disparate influences into infectious records. Rhythms, samples and sounds from across the globe are threaded through his output, making for a discography that consistently sounds fresh.
An artist truly inspired by music around the globe, he's released music made in Uganda, Cuba and Brazil and now holds down a monthly slot on Gilles Peterson's Worldwide FM.
