Arma17 turns nine with parties in St. Petersburg, Berlin and London
The Moscow club goes on tour with Helena Hauff, Demdike Stare and Rhadoo
Russian club Arma17 has announced three dates across Russia and Europe in celebration of its ninth birthday.
The Moscow club will throw parties across Europe starting with a two-day event in St. Petersburg on Saturday April 29 featuring Helena Hauff (pictured), Demdike Stare, Container and Hieroglyphic Being.
This comes after numerous setbacks over the years. In 2009 the industrial space that gave the night its name burnt down. A new space was forced to close soon after due to property development in the area.
Just last year the club’s festival, Outline, was cancelled last minute by the Russian police. Three more attempts were made to hold the event, but each were thwarted by the authorities.
In May Arma17 will host Nicolas Lutz, Binh and Phuong Dan in Berlin before heading to London with Rhadoo, Moritz von Oswald, Natia and Vakula among others.
