Ariana Grande's benefit concert in Manchester raised £2 million
Pharrell, Justin Bieber and Coldplay all played
Last night's (June 4) One Love Manchester concert organised by pop star Ariana Grande raised £2 million.
The singer put on the three-hour event following a terror attack at her gig on May 22, inviting Pharrell, Liam Gallagher, Justin Bieber, Coldplay, Katy Perry and more to play at the Old Trafford Cricket Ground. 50,000 people were in attendance.
Television viewers were able to donate to the We Love Manchester Emergency Fund and by the end of the concert at 10pm, the total money raised was £2 million. That takes the entire fund to more than £10 million.
Ariana Grande has also re-released her 2015 single 'One Last Time', with all proceeds going to the fund.
The attack at her Manchester Arena gig last month killed 22 people, with over 50 people being injured.
