Applications for the BURN Residency 2018 are open now

€100,000 and a five-week Ibiza residency is up for grabs

You can now submit your application to stand a chance of winning the eighth edition of the BURN Residency.

The program, which aims to unearth undiscovered dance music talents and help them achieve success, is offering a grand prize of €100,000, and finalists will have the chance to perform at Ibiza’s finest clubs during a five-week residency.

Applications are open until March 20, and finalists from Russia, Turkey, Italy, Norway, Poland, Romania, Spain, Hungary, Brazil, and Sweden will be chosen to partake in the program.

They will be tutored and mentored by a host of leading dance music figures, including Pete Tong, Luciano, Seth Troxler and Loco Dice.

Last year Turkish artist Furkan Kurt was crowned winner, selected by a panel including Carl Cox, Pete Tong and Luciano. He has since locked in weekly residencies at Klein, Lucca and Drone, as well as a monthly residency at Flamme in Istanbul.

Another previous winner Lollino has released a mix through John Digweed’s Bedrock imprint, become a HYTE regular, played Amnesia’s New Year’s bash alongside Carl Cox, Richie Hawtin, Dubfire and more, and launched a weekly radio show on Ibiza Sonica.
