Ansome (Randomer remix)

Brilliantly savage

Despite having only been releasing music as Ansome since 2014, the UK producer has gained heavy momentum with his jagged, punishing and razor-sharp strand of techno.

When it comes to this venomous style of electronica, some of Europe's leading imprints in the field have drawn for Ansome's music, with Mord, South London Analogue Material, Them and perhaps most prominently Perc Trax, all releasing his records.

His debut album 'Stowaway' dropped earlier this year via Perc's fire-breathing label and now comes a lethal set of remixes that add a new layer of darkness to some of the LP's key cuts.

Ossian, Perc and O/V/R have all turned in edits but we have the exclusive first spin of Randomer's remix of 'Back Alley Sally' and it's not for the faint-hearted. The tension and dread levels are high from early on until the track hits the minute and a half mark, then it explodes.

It's heavy, pulsating and it's exactly what we'd expect if man like Randomer took control of an Ansome track. Big.

The 'Stowaway' Remix package is due out August 19 via Perc Trax
